The software installation is user friendly as one has to follow the steps
/ instructions as given in the instruction
manual
If I will migrate from any other software what will happen to my old Database?
???
How could I transfer my machine Image measurement data directly into the
software?
The measurement and calculations will be automatically transferred to the
patient database / details for reporting
and reference through the ULTRALINK hardware (optional / DICOM machines
only)
I am having multiple operator environments. Can I integrate all the data
into one system?
Yes, the SonoCare software comes as single user and multi-user versions
and on multi-user version, the
data is integrated and resides in the data-server
Can I centralize the multiple operators environment?
Same as above...
We are using different manufacturer equipment. Can we generate the report
from one computer?
The reporting is standardized one and uniform. Only the measurements & data
from USG machines are different
and needs ULTRALINK for every individual machine (OEMs may vary) - to throw
light in this aspect
My machine is having non DICOM connectivity. Can I buy DICOM module of the
software to transfer the image
in DICOM protocol?
If the machine is DICOM connectivity, then the images will transfer through
DICOM protocol. Now to understand
this transfer protocol SONOCARE-DICOM software module is used. If the ultrasound
machine is Non-DICOM connectivity
then the images to transfer may require standard capture card.
What is UltraLink?
A hardware device which reads the measurements and data from the USG (DICOM)
machines and transfers them to
the patient database thereby reducing typographic errors and data entry
time.
How do I connect Image Grabber Card into the machine?
Insert the card in the PCI slot of the computer. Install the software. Seamless
integration of Image grabber software
with SonoCare. Plug the S-Video / Composite video cable from USG machine
to the corresponding point on
the card.
How the Image transfer from ultrasound machine into computer?
As explained above through a S-Video / Composite video cable or directly
from USG machine through DICOM
software provided with SonoCare version (with DICOM option)
Can it be possible to report the same way pattern every time when I get
the same diagnostic finding?
It is possible to change the pattern of reporting say the font type, size,
attributes & colour, and modifying
the comments. BUT it is advisable to have a pre-defined standard format
- Standardized reporting
Can it be possible to use our own medical terms synonym in the reports?
Yes - vividly explained above.
I don't want to spend time on typing the same report again & again. What
could be the solution provided?
Set the defaults for both normals & abnormals. By single button click Normal
reports are generated. Another
click the abnormals are scattered and the final reporting takes just 2 minutes
to generate.
In my ultrasound M/C the biometric parameters are different in different
percentile value compare to SONOCARE
S/W. What is the solution for it?
Tables / values can be entered by the user. So the user can adopt the USG
machine and SonoCare
Auto-generation ID & manual entered ID:
Yes this feature is available
In our centre we have different patient ID when the patient comes to our
hospital. Can we incorporate the
same ID in sonocare?
There is a cross reference ID in the patient demography screen with satisfies
the issue.
I have brought Sonocare when it was released. But I found there are a lot
of change in the modules & enhancement
in the S/W done. How do I avail and incorporate?
SonoCare releases updates with fixes the common issues every 6 months on
its website. Download and update,
the software will work seamlessly.
