  SUPPORT TIPS

  REGULAR BACKUP

It is advisable to take regular backups of your data. New VIRUS threat / System inconsistency / erroneous operations may cause loss of data. We recommend to take back-ups in a regular interval and store in any optical media.

  Procedure

Start Menu / SONOCARE / SonoCare Backup and Restore.

Choose the path other than the drive partition where SONOCARE application is installed.
If SonoCare is installed in C:/ drive then select partition other than C:/ Drive for safe process.

Copy images folder from C:/Program File/SonoCare/Images.

Paste the folder in the location where backup database is placed.

By practicing to take backup regularly not only protects your database from any crash or threat but also helps you to save you from loosing your database.

IMAGE TRANSFER PROCESS FROM ULTRASOUND EQUIPMENT

Images from the ultrasound machine can be transferred to the computer by two procedures:

DICOM (Digital Image Communication in Medicine) standard of transfer.

Non DICOM (Image Grabber Card) transfer.

  DICOM TRANSFER

Most importantly DICOM transfer takes place only from the DICOM Standard ultrasound equipment. To get the benefit of DICOM Image transfer it is mandatory to enable DICOM Mode in the Ultrasound Equipments. For more detail on DICOM please contact your ultrasound equipment vendor.
